How To Make A Diaper Bouquet
Depending on the gender of the baby you can change out the colors of the tulle or tissue paper. You can even add small baby items like soap or shampoo into the bottom of the vase. Here is what you will need to make the diaper bouquet:
1 package diapers {you can use any size, I normally get size 1 or size 2}
Rubber Bands - clear work best
Vase
Tissue paper or tulle
Ribbon
Depending on your vase you might need to stuff the bottom
Styrofoam Ball
Wooden Sticks or skewers
Directions for How To Make A Diaper Bouquet:
You want to start by rolling the diapers for the flowers on the bouquet. I always position the diaper like this to roll it so that the top is tucked in.
Next, you will want to wrap the diapers with a rubber band. Clean rubber bands work best because it will not be as hard to hide them when you are putting it all together.
I like to position the rubber band closer to the bottom.
You can make as many as you want.
Depending on the size of the vase you may only be able to fit a dozen.
You will now need to add the skewers to the bottom of the rolled diapers as shown in the picture below.
Now that you have your flowers made you can start the vase. I filled this one with tissue paper because I did not have any small baby items that would fit into this vase and I wanted to cover the styrofoam ball.
I wrapped the styrofoam ball with the tissue paper before putting it into the vase.
You are now ready to start adding the diaper flowers
.Once you have all the diaper flowers into the vase you can now add the tissue paper or tulle for filler. Try to conceal the rubber bands as much as you can. You can also add ribbon to the vase or any other decoration.
I have also made a pink version of this diaper bouquet.
